The Codan NGT Remote Control System (NRCS) is the smart way to achieve clear
and reliable communication when 8571 Remote Control Interface

your transceiver site is located in an area
affected by electrical interference. Clearer communication is achieved by
relocating the NGT HF transceiver and antenna system to an area with little or
no electrical interference. Using an NRCS, the transceiver can be operated from
a convenient location such as an office or workplace.

The NRCS consists of a line modem and NGT Remote Interface (NRI) 3030 at
each site. Connection between sites can be made via simple 2-wire leased line or VHF / UHF radio link.

It is suitable for mobile operation with transceivers that have a large channel capacity.

Base station antennas are the single most important item in any system, especially with regards to HF communications.
Different HF antennas exhibit different radiating patterns, 'take-off' angles, etc - some are designed for long distance communications (1500Kms +), others are designed for medium distances (500Kms to 1500Kms) and others for short distances (200Kms to 1000Kms).
